Dr. Christopher T. Pullins

Dr. Christopher T. Pullins is a consultant and with the Department of Family Medicine, Mayo Clinic Arizona. Dr. Pullins is heavily involved in the faith based community.

For the past 12 years, he has facilitated a summer health series where health specialists from various fields are brought in to speak on topics which impact the community. He has further expanded on his community relations by incorporating community based research.

Aside from clinical practice, he serves on several committees within Mayo Clinic including Officers and Councilors, Pediatric Obesity Advisory committee, Mayo School of Medicine student advisor and instructor.

He is also a health disparity researcher in the Mayo Clinic Offices of Health Disparity research. He recently first authored a manuscript entitled “Health Behaviors and Preventive Healthcare Usage Among African-American Attendees at a Faith-based Public Health Conference: Healthy Churches 2020” which was published in Journal of Religion and Health.
